RAPID Neurofascial Reset

movement starts with you

Make it count.

Are you stuck with pain that will not go away no matter what you do?

RAPID Neurofascial Reset

Make your treatment count.

RAPID Neurofascial Reset and is a movement based therapeutic technique that addresses the nervous system’s role in alleviating pain, tension and restrictions in muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia.

The purpose of RAPID NFR is to desensitize nerve hypersensitivity and bring the body back to “normal”. It targets pain and restrictions in the body with a treatment goal of improving range of motion, resolving pain and reducing inflammation.

This enables the therapist to affect the central central nervous system which reduces tissue tension, increases blood flow to promote healing and decreases inflammation. All while reducing the nervous system sensitivity which reduces pain.

It has the potential with treating many painful musculoskeletal conditions such as:

Sciatica, Plantar Fasciitis, Shin Splints, Bursitis, Frozen Shoulder, Baker’s Cysts, Back Pain, Headaches/Migraines, TMJ-D, Vertigo/Tinnitus, Arthritis, Knee Pain, Golfers/Tennis Elbow, Pelvic Floor issues & many more.

Manual Therapy that is movement based

At Mvment Therapy we have not one but two RAPID Specialists that have dedicated their practice to focus mainly on treating their clients with RAPID.

This is because we as therapists see results with treating with RAPID over some of the other treatments that we do.

We are here for you because we understand that pain management can be difficult, this is why we want to treat you with what works.

Why RAPID is used by many others.

WHAT TO WEAR

wear stretchy yoga type clothes, NO jeans

HOW LONG SHOULD YOU BOOK FOR

on average 15 - 30 minutes

for your first appointment 30 minutes is best

HOW OFTEN DO YOU HAVE TO COME

usually 2 - 8 times in the beginning then we can spread appointments out longer depending on the condition

after your first appointment your second appointment should be booked for within a week from the first treatment

chronic conditions will need more treatments

if you do NOT have pain you do not need to book an appointment

OTHER THERAPY

if you are going to have a massage, physio or a chiropractic treatment do it before your RAPID NFR appointment

otherwise it will undo everything that we worked on

same day treatment is okay

What does it feel like?

Every session is a combination of examination and treatment. The therapist uses their hands to evaluate the texture, tightness, and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. Painful areas are treated by combining precise tension with very specific patient movements. It may be uncomfortable during the movement phase of treatment. This occurs as the neurological system is being stimulated to restore normal function and eliminate pain.

Clients choose RAPID because of the ‘rapid’ response to treatment. Treating the body at the neurological level stimulates a reprogramming of the tissue. Tight muscles relax, range of motion is restored, and pain is eliminated. This helps individuals quickly get back to normal life. Most painful conditions are resolved in 2-8 treatments
