Trauma

when treating trauma it is something that needs to be taken slow. when your cortisol levels are hightened and you are in that fight or flight response it is really hard to manually treat clients. destressing has so many different components but did you know that RAPID is the perfect treatment to add in to help treat trauma and calm the central nervous system.

the reason why is because RAPID affects the central nervous system by targeting the periosteum on the bones which is highly neurological. this tricks the body into safety.

as someone who has trauma i can attest that RAPID affectively helps calm my nervous system down. 15 or 30 mins is best for people treating trauma because if you are already overstimulated with a hightened system we do not want to overstimulate you during treatment.

i have found in my practice that the clients who are extremely tired after treatment seem to be the ones that are most likely dealing with some trauma. this is something that i have observed over the last year and a half of practicing RAPID.

myself, Kayla & our other RAPID Specialist Stephanie are extremely confident in helping work through trauma and releasing the fascial restrictions that can be caused by this.
